Hold on to the mad, absolute and undiluted hope in the Resurrection!

We must hold on to the absolute, undiluted, mad hope in the Resurrection. This is THE source of faith in the Living God. If we replace this central hope with anything else, or if we dilute this hope and turn it into something different, we have built ourselves an idol and we have stopped worshipping the Living God.
The spiritual risk is that these false gods will 'feel' more alive to us (if we are driven by emotions) or they will make more 'sense' to us (if we are driven by our brains). Slowly, miracles will happen (Christ did warn us about false gods and their false miracles) and - as we have seen during this pandemic - we are all too ready to driven by fear, sin or the promise of a quick and easy miracle-producing faith, with no discernment regarding the 'gods' that generate these miracles. We are all to ready to fall with the greatest fall of all.
We must imprint on our hearts that this is the age of spiritual silence. This is the age of patience and endurance. This is when we hold on blindly to the faith that Christ gave us and to the absolute, undiluted, mad hope in His and our Resurrection. The one who endures to the end will be saved.
Christ IS risen!
