Why A Stocks Share Price Is USELESS (stop looking at it)

One of the first things people typically associate with a company's stock is its share price. But in reality, whether you are looking to invest in a company or are already invested, share price alone is pretty much a useless metric. In this video, I’ll explain why.

There’s really 2 main avenues in which share price of a company really has no value, the first is in determining a company’s value, and the second is determining the health of an existing stock position in your portfolio.

In the first instance, the share price does not give you a true indication of the company's actual value. In the second instance, the share price doesn't accurately reflect the performance of the underlying company on a day to day basis with pinpoint precision.

Share price is very useful but it's not the be all end all. I hope this video was able to clear that up for you, so you have a better understanding of how to use a stocks share price during your analysis moving forward.
