Series and Parallel Circuits (Interactive!): Electronics Basics 5

Learn about the differences between Series and Parallel Circuits.

Parallel circuits mean that anything connected shares the current in a circuit, meaning they can operate from the same power supply at a specific voltage.

Components connected in series require voltage to be increased for each component in series, as there is no additional path for current to flow, therefore more resistance along the way.
