The Safe Way to Watch the Solar Eclipse - Chris Leingang (MyFunScience.com)

Today, Mr. Leingang demonstrates a safe way to view the 2017 Solar Eclipse without actually looking directly at the sun. Viewing the solar eclipse can be dangerous. Instead, this video demonstrates a more traditional and old-fashioned method to safely view the solar eclipse using a "Pinhole Projector".

We will be using basic supplies that you probably already have at home. All you need is a cereal box, some aluminum foil, a white sheet of paper, some tape, and a small nail.

Mr. Leingang also discusses some of the solar eclipse glasses which can be purchased, how these glasses work, and some of the common safety concerns.
