Riding the Pittsburgh T Allentown Line outbound

Off-ride footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbqe759mOPg

Formerly known as the Brown Line, and before that the 52 Allentown, this steep, winding, street running route is one of the last remnants of Pittsburgh's once extensive network of trolley lines. It last saw regular use in 2011, when it was cut from service as part of system-wide service cuts. It's a rough ride, but it's lots of fun! The line is still maintained and is used as a bypass of the Mount Washington Transit Tunnel and Station Square when needed. In this case we were bypassing some track work being done at South Hills Junction. Enjoy the video!
