“3rd Eye” 2021, pixpressionism painting in making (oil on canvas, psychological symbolism)

The video was created using a time-lapse method, 1 shot per 15 sec. Video rendered at 30 FPS. 1 min of the video is equivalent to 7.5 hours in real time.
In the 1st stage of making the artwork I improvised a few shapes and colors directly on canvas. During the 2nd stage I had a sudden desire to go a different direction and pretty much completely repainted the artwork. During the 3rd stage I gave the artwork pixelated style look with a ½” flat brush. I finalized the painting’s look during the 4th stage with a smaller (¼”) brush.
