Never Again: A brief chronology of the Armenian Genocide
In 1915, the Turkish government launched a plan to massacre and expel Armenians living in the Ottoman Empire. While much of the massacre and deportations ended in 1918, killings continued until 1923, by which point around 1.5 million of Turkey’s 2 million Armenians were dead. Many others had been deported from the country. Today historians classify this event as a genocide, but the Turkish government refuses to acknowledge it as such.
