Naoe’s Hunt for Revenge
After recovering from her injuries, Naoe is determined to track down the woman who shot her in Sakai. To gather information, she assumes a secret identity and begins her search. Along the way, she sets her sights on building a hideout—her base of operations for the vengeance she seeks.
Eavesdropping on the Gunsmiths
While investigating, Naoe overhears a shady plan—two gunsmiths are attempting to deceive Oda Nobunaga by selling faulty ammunition. Seizing the opportunity, she poses as an agent of the Imai clan, though they initially question her credibility. Proving herself as a shinobi, she gains their trust and uses the moment to steal valuable contract information, further solidifying her fake identity.
Finding Imai Sokyu
With her forged identity in place, Naoe now needs to locate Imai Sokyu. Her search takes her to western Settsu, specifically southwestern Sakai.
Exploring the Open World
During this journey, I completed my first synchronization atop a boat and was blown away by the ocean detail. The underwater scenery, sea creatures, and swimming mechanics showcase an impressive level of depth and beauty.
Recruiting Heiji the Blacksmith
Naoe encounters Heiji, a skilled blacksmith, who is being threatened by thugs demanding he forge weapons for them. Taking them down swiftly, she earns Heiji’s trust and recruits him to her cause.
