How To Make Hair Gel From Scratch!!!

I have always wanted to experiment with making hair gel. And I was inspired by Yaya’s video that she posted testing different ingredients to make gels.

I tried this gel on my son and I was pleasantly surprised with the results! The next morning his hair was still soft and not one flake in sight.

Just as a disclaimer this is a very long video so if you wanted to skip to where I tested the gel on my sons hair skip 15:15

So here is my attempt at formulating and making hair gel. This formula was very easy and simple to make. A List of all the ingredients will be down below for you to check out.

Formula:
8oz of Distilled Water
4oz of Glycerin
4oz of Aloe
0.16oz of aristoflexx avc ((lotion crafters))
0.16oz Xanthan gum ((lotion crafters))
0.16oz Optiphen plus ((lotion crafters))
