Glittered Nails - Part 2 - Tip and Acrylic Overlay - Naio Nails Salon Style Nail Tutorial

In this video Kirsty Continues to the design stage of the nail process.

Firstly Kirsty gets some glitters together, she then explains that a lot of her clients ask for Black Glitters, and how they don't actually look good set in clear acrylic or clear gel nails.
The sparkle doesn't come through as much and ends up looking more like charcoal.

Kirsty mixes the Jet Black Chunky Glitter, Shotgun Black Mini Glitter and Snowfairy Mini Glitter to create her own glitter mix which will refract the light better through the acrylic.

Using Clear acrylic and Max Adhesion Acrylic Liquid, Kirsty shows us how to apply the glitter mix in a couple of different ways, Firstly she Gets the acrylic on the brush and dips into the glitter mix, before adding it too the nail. she then encapsulates using clear acrylic. Then she shows another application, which is to add the acrylic straight to the nail, and then using the brush, dab on the glitter before encapsulating.

Kirsty then explains how the accent nails are going to be full cover. and she repeats the process and encaspulates the glitter.

Kirsty the uses and eFile with a Taperered Drill Bit on to thin out the bulk of the acrylic. She then uses a hand file to refine the nails, before using a white black to remove and marks, finally kirsty uses Pure Acetone on a lint free pad, to melt the top surface and clean the nail.

Kirsty then uses Mega Gloss Sealer Gel to complete the look, This gel Sealer needs to be cure in UV or LED lamp.
