Dr. Vidyadhar Oke presents a Lec-Demo on 22 Shrutis at Gaanavardhan, Pune

Dr. Oke was conferred with the Appasaheb Jalgaonkar Puraskar at the ceremony, on 22nd April, 2012.

In this video, Dr. Oke plays all the 22 shrutis indicating their specific micro-position on any string, and explaining their "natural" creation with accompanying Mathematics.

He also teaches their relationship diagram (musical DNA), and how the Ragas (raaga) are formed out of the same. He also details on the "Western" names of the 22 shrutis.
