Toad males fight for a female - Toad mating | Wildlife in the Balkans

In March or April, toad mating season begins. In this video, you can see exactly the Common toad, one of the most common amphibians in Europe. It all starts with migrations towards the closest water. There, every spring, they gather and breed. Males firmly grip to a female and fertilize the eggs as the female lays them. In this video, you can see, how a typical toad mating looks like.
