Surrogacy Journey Update: Lining Check & Hormone Levels before Embryo Transfer

Today I’m sharing my second baseline ultrasound as part of my gestational surrogacy journey 🤍

This appointment is an important step as we get closer to embryo transfer, which is planned for about one week from now. During this visit, my clinic is looking closely at my uterine lining to make sure it’s thickening appropriately and responding well to medications so my body is ready to support a pregnancy.

Along with the ultrasound, I also had bloodwork done to check my hormone levels, including estrogen and progesterone. These labs help ensure everything is lining up hormonally before moving forward with transfer.

Surrogacy has been such a meaningful journey for me, and I’m sharing these updates to help educate, encourage, and support others who are walking through IVF, infertility, or gestational surrogacy, whether as a surrogate or intended parent.
