This one is more of an experiment. We’ve seen a margherita margarita and a jasmine jasmine, so why not a chrysanthemum chrysanthemum? Infuse chrysanthemum flowers in dry vermouth for a few hours, then add that to some benedictine and an absinthe rinse. Personally, the after taste of the benedictine threw me off, but the chrysanthemum vermouth tasted great on its own.

2 oz | 60 ml chrysanthemum vermouth

1 oz | 30 ml benedictine

absinthe rinse

Add vermouth and benedictine to a mixing glass with ice and stir until cold. Rinse a coupe glass with absinthe, then add contents in mixing glass to coupe. Garnish with lemon peel.
