If you are looking to speed up and upgrade your older 2008 macbook, look no further, this video will explain how to upgrade the RAM memory, also included a few workarounds and some very important must know tips.

Quick tip: if you purchased memory and it doesn't work (Macbook keeps beeping) not all is lost. Just leave one old memory module in and that will slow down the bus speed and allow the other memory module to be recognized.

If you hear three beeps from the macbook then the memory bus speed is too fast.
If you hear one beep from the macbook the memory is not sitting correctly.

This is a super easy upgrade, you can find 4gb ram chips for less the $25 and just leave the old 2 gb ram chip in. Now you got 6GB!

New memory module 4GB max per module
Philips head screwdriver
10 min of free time
