Getting the Grant

The plaintiff says the defendant is her ex-husband. She claims she received a grant to go to nursing school, but the money got put on her ex’s credit card. She accuses him of stealing the money, and she’s suing. The defendant says the money was a refund onto his credit card. He claims he paid her some of the grant but refused to give her the rest because she spent a lot of money before their divorce.
