The 1974 Xenia Ohio tornado (40 years)

In 1974 (way before I was born) These are newer pictures of the storm. The super outbreak 74 took place on April 3 - 4 148 touch down in the eastern of the United states. But the biggest one of the outbreak came to Xenia Ohio and did catastrophic damage.
Result in 159 deaths and around 4000 injured and the damage cost $250 million.
