He was really nervous about this viewing. He knows the whole story, but he also knows that tons of people really hate the Prequels. I'm not a big fan either, but I'd watch Jedi working at the port office if they used their lightsabers from time to time. His reaction to The Phantom Menace definitely enhanced my view of the movie.
