The formula race car. LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor.

The formula race car is using the MINDSTORMS hub, a medium linear motor from the LEGO Boost robotics kit for the propulsion and two medium angular motors from the LEGO MINDSTORMS 51515 kit, one for steering and one for rear spoiler adjustment. There is a heavy-duty differential at the rear axle and also a gear ratio of 3/1 to go fast. Plus, the motor speed for the propulsion is set to 100%. The control interface that I made is simple. The vertical slider is for throttle and horizontal slider for steering. And finally, the two buttons for the rear spoiler adjustment. Every time when the two buttons are pressed, the motor adjusts the rear spoiler at 15 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise.
