Let's talk about: Broken Monitor, Can I Fix it?

A monitor that's now about 3 years old has recently developed a problem where it would sometimes not power on anymore or quickly power on and off. Sometimes this is just a solder joint which has cracked over time and by re-flowing and adding some solder this can be fixed. Let's try it to see if that solves the problem!
