This is Miss Foot Fixer again and in this video you will watch the removal of callus completely. We have this lovely lady and she is travelling for a month. She wears some special shoes which cause pressure between fourth and fifth toe and obviously the toes have been rubbing and has callus and corn build up in between the toes. So, what we will do is to take it out completely. Here I want to explain about the callus and its causes. Calluses are formed by the accumulation of terminally undifferentiated keratinocytes in the outermost layer of skin. Too much friction occurring too fast for the skin to develop a protective callus will cause a blister or abrasion instead. Sometimes a callus occurs where there is no rubbing or pressure.
