Some Account of the Apparition of the Blessed Virgin at La Salette, in the Diocese of Grenoble, France. Printed in 1852. This was put together in order to capture something of the early accounts and actions in regard to the Apparition before these disappeared. Six thousand feet up in the French Alps, the Blessed Virgin Mary is believed to have come to 11 year old Maximin Giraud and 14 year old Melanie Calvat-Mathieu while they tended sheep. Her appearance in sorrow and tears called for conversion and penance for sins.
