K100: Removal of original thick cord to use USB pass-through port as input!

Corsair K100 : That thick long and rigid cable was in the way, so I removed it and modified the internal wiring so I could use the USB pass-through port as an input port for a removable USB cable of my choice. Now I can use any cable I want, any length, even a fancy coiled cable with an aviator connector.

This video is to show you that it can be done, but it requires some tools and a certain dexterity and experience. To be able to access the inside of the keyboard you need to use a destructive step that is however non-visible nor structurally compromising.
