Lumber beginning to drop! ICF True Cost of Construction Market Update 5-22-2021

In this video we look at how the market has changed over the last 2 months in relation to the last cost comparison video we did. As lumber futures begin to drop we analyze how that will effect the prices at the local level, and when! We look at the much more stable concrete market and factor in the anticipated small increase in icf costs that are coming for fox blocks and have already hit other block manufacturers. We compare the costs of quality wood framing to ICF as we did in the last video, and get into greater details about our attempts to make apples to apples comparisons. we also preview an upcoming icf diy video where my wife and I do a small basement addition on our own house all by ourselves, with her doing most of the work to show just how diy friendly the process really is!
