The Snapper were on FIRE | Baits and Jig SMASHED on the drop!

Hi everyone! In this session, we actually went out targeting mackerel off the Gold Coast Seaway, however when they weren't biting we needed a 'Plan B'. We headed out to around 40m of water and floated down some baits around some shows of fish that we were marking on the sounder.

We started to hook a few solid Snapper straight away, so we decided to put together a nice feed. We head out into 60m of water to complete our bag out, and the Snapper were literally on fire! I even gave a slow pitch jig a try, and it didn't last long... I hope you enjoy the action and take a few tips away!
