Paired with an automatic transmission, it's a true king of the highways, which thanks to Mercedes' traditional excellent maneuverability also works well in the city. It is a well-made, durable and mechanically perfect car, in comparison with the famous predecessor W124 it provides more comfort, more space in the interior and better soundproofing of the cabin. Its transition into the world of youngtimers was definitely hampered by widespread corrosion problems, but a few healthy copies can certainly be a great buy, even if you plan on using it every day. The important thing is to choose a healthy and meticulously serviced copy.
