House passes 45-day spending bill to avoid government shutdown; bill now in the Senate

The House has found a way to avoid a government shutdown, with Speaker Kevin McCarthy calling an audible and putting a 45-day spending bill on the floor, which Democrats helped pass by an overwhelming majority. NBC News’ Ryan Nobles has the latest as the Senate still has to vote.
