Regionalism in a Globalized World
Regional trade agreements have proliferated in the last 20 years with more than 300 in place and more being negotiated, including the TPP and TTIP. This event will discuss regional trade integration around the world, discuss the recommendations of an expert group on RTAs convened by the E15 Initiative of the International Center for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and the World Economic Forum (WEF), and discuss innovations to spur information and idea-sharing on regionalism.
