Gov’t sets up special desk to replace IDs lost during floods
The department of Immigration says it has set up a special desk to assist Kenyans who have lost their ID cards and passports to the floods that continue to wreak havoc in the country. While leading the tree planting exercise in Machakos County, Immigration PS Julius Bitok has called on all Kenyans who have lost the documents due to the heavy rains to report for assistance. Similar desks will also be established at the regional immigration offices.
