Then I Chose to Miss the Fun

Every time I wanna start to write this song I'm not sure if I'm doing right
cos here in front of us there is a threshold and it's pushing us to let our lives go by
I tried to stick around but time has fooled me
so what's left to say by now?

Streets of London seem to be so empty but I've learnt to take a look inside
whenever I feel low cos there's the place where problems like to hide and try to set me up
So here I am again and wonder if I can
just speed things up and make it a bit easier to refrain

Cos all I know is that I'm still in pain
and I don't want to feel that way again
It may take time to heal the wounds you left on me
but scars won't fade away.

Sometimes I lose myself in old and dusty memories that will not help me out
I need a route to scape and run as far away as I can go and never turn around
So here I am again and wonder if I can
just speed things up and make it a bit easier to refrain
