Joan Cornoni-Huntley interview with Victor Schoenbach, 9/15/2015, part 3/4

Joan Cornoni received an MPH in biostatistics in 1962, returned to UNC a year later and began working toward a PhD in epidemiology. While a student she held various jobs, including instructor in the Department of Epidemiology and teaching a course in statistical methods. Upon completing her PhD in 1970 she become assistant professor in epidemiology and, several years later, associate professor. She later marred Robert Huntley and moved to Washington DC, where Jacob Brody recruited her to a career at the National Institute on Aging. In about 1990 she and her husband retired and moved back to Chapel Hill.

The interview with Victor Schoenbach was conducted in her home on North Boundary Street in Chapel Hill, September 15, 2015 and was recorded by Marion Schoenbach. Part 3 of 4.
