Fender Player Jazzmaster In Shell Pink - Can You Play Metal On A Jazzmaster?!

Last year I picked up a limited edition Fender Player Jazzmaster in Shell Pink. I decided to slap some 14-68 gauge strings on it, chuck it in Drop A#, and record some higher gain stuff. Check out how it sounds in this mix!

This Fender Jazzmaster has an olympic white headcap, pure vintage '65 reissue jazzmaster pickups, and a series/parallel 4-way selector switch. I did switch out the stock bridge for a Fender USA one.

While these were originally a Chicago Music Exchange exclusive, I do believe they made their way into a few other stores. I was lucky enough to grab one of the last ones in Australia.
