Judith Maria is the first single from Stimmings upcoming album Ludwig.
This is Stimming at his best; using all sorts of warped sounds and his signature progressive percussion to create a refined listening experience that’s meticulously produced while also being awash in feeling. Swirling analogue arpeggios and otherworldly, mangled synths distort the sound before Stimming’s vocals bring back a sense of intimacy and safety to the track. Named after Stimming’s partner, Judith Maria’s driving beat alludes to the circumstances the two forged their unity – at a club, of course.
