WOW GUYS! The Little Mermaid 2023 was.....

Welp, I saw the Little Mermaid 2023 yesterday! And it was.....eh. For a Disney live action remake, you could do a lot worse. X) Halle Bailey did a good job as Ariel with her cute reactions and singing voice, Jonah Hauer King was good as Eric, the romance between the two of them was adorable, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula was decent, Part of your World and Poor Unfortunate Souls were both nice and Grimsby was a total bro! That being said, the other numbers like Under the Sea and Kiss the Girl were really empty feeling, Sebastian and Flounder looked awful, the story felt extremely rushed and what the heck was up with that Awkwafina rap song? XD I saw a lot of both 5 star and 1 star reviews from people, and I really don't think it deserves either of those. It's not gonna set your world on fire, but it was alright. Also, that joke at the end wasn't exaggerated. I did almost fall asleep in the theater at one point. ^^; Either way, tell me what you think in the comments below!

P.S. - I don't know if I'm gonna do that 9 hour rant review I joked about or not since this movie didn't infuriate me or anything. X) (Even though Under the Sea was extremely underwhelming.)
