Jesse (Jason James Richter) is having a great life and a great relationship with his foster parents, and a big focus on girls. But his case worker Dwight (Mykelti Williamson) stops by to inform Jesse, Glen (Michael Madsen) and Annie (Jayne Atkinson) that they found Jesse's mom in New York, but she has passed away. Dwight then tells Jesse that he has a brother, but he doesn't take the news too well, and runs off due to getting so upset. Glen then finds Jesse and tells him that his brother is coming to stay with the Greenwoods for a while since Jesse is his only living relative.
