Cute #Dessert Spot in #EllicottCity: Kyoto Matcha // #Maryland #MarylandFood

Apparently it’s #NationalSoftServeDay so I’m featuring a cute dessert spot (with yum soft serve) in Ellicott City! Have you guys been to Kyoto Matcha yet?

They have all kinds of nom matcha treats! I feel like this Rockville location has more variety, but I still like this spot as well. SO, here’s what I got this time around - and sorry about pricing. I forgot to take a pic of the menu, and I can’t seem to locate prices online 🥲

▪️Parfait - I got this with matcha soft serve, and it’s filled with all sorts of goodies like cereal, red bean, lychee and more! The dessert’s actually pretty dang big, too, so it’s great for sharing. I believe this as $9 but don’t quote me on that, lol 😅
▪️Matcha crepe cake - I think the crepe cake here is really solid! I actually had a matcha tiramisu in Rockville that I LOVED, but they don’t have it here in this location. The crepe cake was a nice alternative. You definitely gotta like matcha though because those flavors really come through.
▪️Ube soft serve - this location is now serving ube/taro flavor! I’m not sure how long it’ll be around for though so head on over if you wanna try it. I thought the flavors were nice, but the texture could be creamier IMO! Fyi, the texture of the ube is v different from the texture of the matcha + mix options. The matcha flavor is elite - 10/10 recommend.
