Lily loves Watermelon! Sometimes people wonder why she doesn’t bite into it. She will eat very small pieces that are cut up. Otherwise cats actually get more flavor from licking the food! Cats tongues are covered in papillae and these allow them to eat some foods just by licking it! Notice how the heart in the watermelon was losing its shape at the end—Lily would have eventually given this watermelon slice a broken heart! 😹
Lily eats meat based cat food everyday! That is the majority of her diet 💗 Fruits/veggies in very small quantities 1-2 times per week!
