Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon is one of the most explosive Boros commanders you can build around, turning every single attack into a rapidly scaling board of creatures.

At first glance, the ability looks simple… but once you see how it plays out in a real game, things get out of control very quickly.

Every time you attack with a non-Gnome creature, Anim grows…
and then converts those +1/+1 counters directly into Gnome tokens that enter the battlefield already attacking.

Before long, you’re overwhelming the table with an army that keeps growing every single turn.

What makes Anim especially interesting is how flexible the deck becomes once that engine is online.

You can go tall by turning Anim into a massive threat and closing games through commander damage.
You can go wide by flooding the board with Gnomes and overrunning your opponents.
Or you can convert all those entering creatures into direct damage through cards like Impact Tremors and burn the table out without even needing combat.

This list is built on a 100€ budget, but don’t let that fool you.

Because Anim is so efficient on her own, the deck performs far above what you would expect from a budget build and can easily run over more expensive decks that aren’t prepared to interact early.

And if you do want to push the deck further, there’s a very detailed upgrade section at the end of the video that shows you exactly how to take this strategy to a much higher power level.
