France, 1944. Private Henry Cole was already hit. Twice. Blood soaked the ground beneath him. Evacuation was possible. Safety was close. But then he heard them. His squad. Trapped. Calling for help. He turned around. And started crawling back. Every inch burned. Every breath hurt. But he kept moving. One by one, he reached them. Dragged them out. Ignored the bullets ripping past him. Twelve men. Twelve lives. When the last was safe, Cole collapsed. He never made it out again. But every man he saved did. And none of them ever forgot his name.
