Stephen Collins, MBBS, director of the Farncombe Family Digestive Health Research Institute at McMaster University reviews the microbiome and discusses interactions between the microbiota and the gut-brain axis his talk “Microbiome Interactions with the Gut and the Brain.” This lecture was one of four presentations in the 2018 Refresher Course on “GI Physiology: Not Just the Gut Anymore,” presented at the Experimental Biology 2018 meeting and organized by the APS Education Committee.
