Underrated Northern German City The Queen of Hanseatic League #19

Lübeck is a medieval city in northern Germany known for its red-brick architecture and its role in the Hanseatic League. It is home to the Holstentor, a famous gate, the Marienkirche, a large Gothic church, and the Bunte Woch, a colorful market. The city is also home to a number of museums and universities.
What's written on the Holsten Gate is "Concordia domi foris pax" and it means Harmony within, peace outside.
