🖌️ painting studio Ghibli scenes + trying out winsor & newton gouache

It’s been a while right ? I could totally tell that I missed filming these types of videos soooo much when actually painting this scene TT I couldn’t really find the time to film (and edit) since it’s currently almost the end of the semester it’s quite hectic and busy ….and there are so many assignments that need to be done so…I hope you can understand that. (It’s also mainly because I failed to manage my time but let’s not talk about that….)…

As you can tell from the title I’m painting another studio Ghibli scene in this video and !! The scene I painted is definitely from my all time favourite Ghibli movies ✨ I could watch the movie 24/7 and the track list as well as the storyline of the whole movie is just simply beautiful and amazing ✨ I even got the book of it (yes it has a book) to read more about the characters but…the movie is still a lot better in my opinion. If you can guess to which studio Ghibli movie this scene belongs to please do let me know !!

Also, as you can (again) tell from the title I actually tried out a new gouache set today !! I got the winsor newton gouache when it was on sale as a little gift for myself and was so excited when trying it out. It’s definitely on a different level than my trusty jelly gouache but I really loved the rich colours and the saturation of these so much 🙌 it was also really nice to see that the paint was able to be reactivated even after letting them stay in the little palettes for 3 days…talking about 3 days…yes it took me 3 days to finish this painting but if you count the time spent on it it’s about 6 hours to complete it ✨ I’m so glad tho that I was able to spend so much time on this painting and I really love how it turned out. I hope you like it as much as I do.
