[44] RUDOLPH - Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia - Blind Modified Ironman - E44
Hello, and welcome to the forty forth episode in my Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia Blind Modified Ironman!
As the title states, this playthrough is mostly blind, I have previously played up until the chapter where you get the Turnwheel which is around an hour or so in to the game (Not that I remember much of it). There are also stray bits of information that I have picked up just from being around the FE Community.
As for the Modified Ironman - this will mostly be treated as a normal Ironman, no turning back time, and no reloading past saved, so the consequences of any actions are permanent.
The big change here is in the case of a Game Over. Typically in an Ironman, when you face a game over screen, the run is considered "Dead", and you delete the save file.
However because I actually want to beat the game, in the event of a Game Over, we are instead going to kill off the last unit who either:
A) Faced Combat
or
B) Took an action other than waiting.
So for example, if Unit A gets attacked on the enemy phase, and then in the next attack, Alm Dies, we will restart the chapter, but Unit A will be considered dead in their place, and will be unable to be used for the remainder of the playthrough.
