Ivan Lendl v Pat Cash USO 1984

This match was the first match of the day in what many still regard as the best day's tennis ever seen. Super Saturday at the 1984 US Open opened with this five set epic between Ivan Lendl and 19 year old Pat Cash (both men had a match point in the fifth set before the set reached a tie break). After this match there was a three set women's final between Navratilova and Evert and to conclude the day there was a five setter between McEnroe and Connors.
