Exploring a Methodology of Accompaniment in Public Health (Coffee Breaks with Scholars)

Do you ever engage in your research so deeply you find yourself wondering if it's even research at all? Do you find yourself fully invested in the outcomes of the equity movements you study? In this Coffee Break, four scholars of public health discuss their hunger for a set of research methods that allow them to bring their whole selves into their work, especially the parts of themselves that get angry when they witness injustice, feel restless when their work is inadequate, or feel inspired at the community resilience and creativity they document. What would it look like to bring "accompaniment"–or the notion of walking with our participants–into the work of public health?
