As NIO is again just a couple dollars away from new all time highs we have some very exciting news, and “rumors” you could say, being released. We have gotten a very interesting update on NIO’s expansion plans that make me think that it will happen even sooner than I initially expected, we have also seen NIO displaying their high liquidity by doing share buybacks from some SPECIAL SHAREHOLDERS. I also want to talk about NIO getting another MASSIVE DEAL with the government to build an industrial park. AND LASTLY, do I think NIO is still a great buy in this environment? There is tons to talk about today guys so make sure to watch all the way so you don’t miss anything.

Firstly, looking at the stock chart, NIO is working to break the mid 58 dollar resistance levels. As I always say even the current levels we have are much appreciated AND HAVE MADE PRETTY MUCH EVERY NIO investor tons of money, unless you bought in during the last all time highs. But even then we are barely down from those highs and I am personally confident that 58 dollars will look like a bargain in months and years time.

Anyways, even though we are trading flat on thursday, wednesday saw a gain of around 4% based on some great news and rumors being discussed.

Firstly let’s talk about the expansion rumors. We all know how important every single EXPANSION UPDATE is for NIO and their future revenue. Some time ago we heard confirmations that IN 20201 we WILL SEE NIO CARS driving around on the roads in European countries like Norway but now there are STRONG REASONS TO BELIEVE that their cars will even ENTER THE MASSIVE MARKET THAT IS THE UNITED STATES.

In a recent Linkedin job posting by NIO they had created an open position for a mid-to-senior-level executive who is expected to lead a team to expand its business in THE US MARKET.

The Job responsibility reads:

Work with American companies and teams to develop American business strategies;

Combine the NIO model and in-depth market insights to promote the innovation and implementation of business models;

Formulate an action plan to enter the US market, and pull through the cluster resources in the headquarters based on key deliverables;

Coordinate cross-departmental resources and deliver them on time according to the project management approach.

And among the requirements for this job you have to agree with NIO’s corporate values and culture, and implement them in work, WORK ACROSS TIME DIFFERENCES, and be good at written and oral English.
So this job request really speaks for itself guys, I don’t need to tell you why it HINTS STRONGLY AT NIO HAVING PLANS TO EXPAND to the US quite soon. Now the rumor aspect of this whole thing is obviously that NOTHING IS ACTUALLY CONFIRMED BY NIO THEMSELVES and that we have no idea when this will happen, although I would definitely bet on it happening NOT LATER THAN 2022.

We already know how much these guys want to sell outside of China and William Li Bin, founder and CEO of NIO hinted in several interviews on January 10th that Norway will be the first target for this company. This just really makes sense since Norway has a massive support for electric vehicles and electric vehicle companies and both the government and the people THERE LOVE THEM. In fact, 2020 was absolutely record breaking where 54.3% SO THE MAJORITY of the vehicle sales where electric vehicles. Just 10 years ago only 1% were EV sales and I am sure we will see a similar progression in the rest of the world as time goes on.
