Taking a look at a pair of removed saline breast implants, Doctor Ricky from Brown Plastic Surgery shows examples of what can happen if a patient has capsular contracture or a ruptured breast implant. These saline implants were removed with their surrounding capsules intact (aka an "en bloc capsulectomy").

While looking at these removed saline implants you can see a fold in one of the implants that might have been caused by capsular contracture. Dr. Ricky also nicks the implant that has already been removed from the body to show what a micro rupture would look like in a saline implant. Slowly deflating over time.
