Preparing My 320K Miles Accord For a 2000 Mile Road Trip!

I'll be taking my 2000 Honda Accord on a 2000 mile round trip from NC to TX and back. I'll be showing you what I did to get this car ready for this long trip. This will include inspecting radiator hoses, fluid levels, brakes, tires, an oil and filter change and replacing the coolant. I will also be and replacing the front brake rotors and pads as well as replacing radiator and heater hoses.

If you are concerned about using your high mileage car for a long road trip, this video will point out some things to look for before leaving so that you can make the trip with confidence.

All that I am going to show you can be done in your driveway with some basic hand tools and jack stands.

If you do not feel that you are up to the task, I would recommend that you take your car to a mechanic to do this pre trip inspection for you.

There are many ways to "skin the cat" and these are the methods that I use. Any criticisms or alternate methods posted in the comments are welcome, just keep it civil.
