DoReMii Remix (August 2021) - The Julie Combo

This video has been created on a Nintendo Wii by Acer, a young Julie fan.

"My name is Acer. I'm a huge Julie Andrews fan and [...]. Even though I'm blind, I'm able to enjoy her best work in films because of the amazing thing that is audio description.
The first thing I heard from her was Do-Re-Mi when I came to the US in the late 2000s. Though I couldn't link the voice with the name because I was only a few years old at the time and my family never actually told me about artist names for music back then.
My parents had just gotten the 40th anniversary soundtrack for The Sound Of Music and they knew I was a very musical person. That's how I got to hear it first. I took time recently to actually listen to the film with audio description and I loved it. Around the same time that the Sound of Music came to my attention, I was very interested in a game for the Nintendo Wii called Wii music that just so happened to have Do-Re-Mi as a licenced song.
I've collected the soundtracks for Sound Of Music and some other music of Julie's, and then the idea struck me. Because I had just started getting back into wii music mainly for do re mi recently and the Wii music versions of it are in the same key as the one from the film, I decided to put the soundtrack version into an audio analyzer that can isolate stems, and remixed it over the default rock template from Wii Music. [...] It means so much more because I used the audio editor blind without any external assistance from anybody else to make it. Normally people who do computer based audio editing use both ears and eyes, but I can use my ears and not see the screen for most things in audacity, which is the audio editor I use. [...]
I was thinking I would make a mii that looks like Julie [...] as it might be interesting to see an animated Julie Andrews character playing drums , electric bass, the galactic horn that just is basically a synth and or the guitars of the rock template.

I played the game that is normally played visually.
The only thing I didn’t do was the video editing, I had a family member who can see the screen help with that (lining up the remix audio with the original video, etc).
The game calls the stage background I used “music mountain”."
