CFD stands for Contract for Difference. This allows us, investors, to trade and invest in different markets by creating a contract with a broker that allows us to track a certain assets. If the assets go up, your investment also goes up even though you are not buying the exact investment.

This means you can have exposure to any stock in the world without buying the stock at full cost. This means that if Amazon’s stock is 1,800 USD, you can have exposure to Amazon without buying one full stock of Amazon.
